Sorry about the sudden disappearance....if anyone noticed. :) I'm back, and with a few updates that I will post during the kids naptime (if that even happens!). Wishful thinking! We were out of town over the Memorial Day weekend, so I've been playing catchup. Anyhow, the post will be coming shortly......

Toys!!!!

My house is being taken over by toys!!!!! There is a huge racetrack that is taking up half of Nate's room...a dinosaur the size of a large retriever sits by our back door.....Leah's exersaucer is here there and everywhere....not to mention the 3000 animals that find themselves stacked upon every table in the house!!!! I know..I know...toys come with kids, but seriously....who needs this many toys?! Of course, I'm to blame for most of the toy invasion. I spoil these kids way to much and my house is paying for it. 1900 sq. ft. seems extremely small when toys come into the picture. My OCD is in full gear right now, and I'm ready to start donating....TOYS for TOTS in gonna be on my speed dial from now on!

Nate and Kaitlyn

Here's a picture from this past weekend of Nate and Kaitlyn. They are two peas in a pod! Almost like brother and sister because Nate picks on her and tries to annoy her. This picture cracks me up because both of them were "posing" for the camera...saying cheese...however, neither of them are looking at the camera. So typical!

Baby Kylie

As most of ya'll already know, John Eric and Sara had their second baby girl on April 27th. She weighed in at 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches...full term. Golly they make some teeny tiny babies. My babies come out a month early and weigh that much. :)

Anyhow, I had to go get a look at my new niece, so I packed the kids up with the help of Aunt Lellie and made the trip up to Georgia. My mom was already up there helping out with Kaitlyn. Sooooo.....here she is......beautiful baby girl! Kylie has a head full of golden blonde hair and she has full red lips. She's a good eater and she's SUPER STRONG!!! Absolutely perfect!

Addicted!!!!!

So I'm suffering from a serious addition to these new chips!!!! Riceworks Salsa Fresca...YUM!!! They are brown rice chips with a yummy salsa flavor. I can not get enough of them, and I have to force myself to not eat the entire bag. They are sooooo good! I've tried the Parmesan and Sundried Tomato flavor and they were good but not Salsa Fresca good. Anyhow, I know I've mentioned them to a few of ya'll, but to those who haven't heard of them......
BTW: I have no clue what that 12 pack thing is all about, because I just copied this picture from Google images.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I want to wish every mother a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!! Especially to all those mothers who are a part of my life. Thank you, because I'm sure I've learned a thing or two from every mother I know. I need all the help I can get! A shout out to Bebe- thank you for everything!!!

I have learned in the short 3 years of being a mother that it is the hardest and most rewarding job that will ever exist! That brings me to my mom, a mother to 5, three boys and 2 girls. Wow!!! How do you do it? I can barely handle two, so the thought of 5 seems unfathomable. I could go on and on about all the things that makes my mom great, but to sum it all up. She worked her heiny off to raise children whom would grow up to be kind, loving, and generous people. I'm not saying any of us are perfect, but she did a pretty darn good job!!!! Did I mention that she was raising five Jensens?! That's a task in itself, because Jensens are strongwilled and stubborn! I am so thankful to have a mother like her and I'd be lucky to be even half the mother she is!!!! Thanks mom!!!!!!

(Please note: I would like to also mention that my dad played a huge role in raising us, but I will save those praises for Father's Day :) .)

Naptime

As most of ya'll already know.....naptime is a rarity in my house. Neither of my children think they need naps, which they most definitely do! Ty and I want naps, but are not granted the time for naps. Heck, we don't even get enough time to sleep at night, much less a friggin nap!!!!

Anyhow, at this very moment, Leah is asleep in her carseat on top of the dryer (yes...it's running). She fell asleep on the way back from the library (a whole other story!) and the only way to keep her asleep in the carseat is to keep her moving. Once the movement stops, the sleep stops! Fun times. Nate is supposed to be napping, especially after his episode at the library, but he keeps coming and saying " I have to go pee pee". Oh wait, his last excuse is "I have a booger in my nose". Wow!!!! Again, fun times!

Well, I guess this is life....better make the best of it. Hmmmm, I wonder what it would be like if both of my kids slept at the same time? Total bliss...I'm sure. I could get so much done during that time...find the cure for cancer, end the war, solve the economic crisis.....oh the possibilities. If only my kids would nap.... :)

Obsessed!

I'm officially obsessed with these two little people. I can't get enough of them...even when they're on my last nerve....I still can't get enough!!!! Crazy I know!

Drooling!

Leah has been drooling consistently for the past 3 months. She soaks all of her clothes, bibs, etc. I'm constantly wiping her face, chin, and neck. You might think that she's teething, but noooooooo! Not even a sign of them. I mean seriously...come on now. Not that I'm super anxious to bitten during our daily nurse sessions, but I would like to know that she's drooling for a reason.
