2010!!!!!

New Years Eve was great.....got the kids down to bed early at my parents....got to get dressed with no distractions....headed out to a yummy dinner at Global Grill with John Eric, Sara, Billy, Jessica, and Ty.....enjoyed a delicious meal....and.......got a phone call from my mom that Nate was sick with chills, bad fever, and barfing!!!!! I couldn't stand the thought of not being with my baby when he's sick, although, I knew he was in good hands with my mom. Soooooo I ended up being a total kill joy for everybody's New Year. They were all very understanding....thanks again guys!

Nate holding his barf bowl and wearing a fever pad. Poor little guy!

Oh yeah, did I mention that the fever/barfing was the onset of hand foot & mouth disease which Nate so kindly passed onto his sister. Lovely! We have been confined to the house for an entire week now. I've got myself a serious case of cabin fever. :) Happy 2010!!!!

Let's face it...I stink at blogging!!!!

I really thought that I would make a better effort at this whole blogging thing, but it's definitely not looking that way so far. Seeing how I only blogged once in the month of December. Oh well, if I have any readers left out there....here's the latest....

The month of December was awesome...besides the fact that I was sick from Decemeber 7th till the beginning of January. Bronchitis kicked my butt and put my asthma into full gear!!!! Throw in a side of sinus infection and you've got fun times ahead of you.

Teasing aside....December was great!!! I love Christmas time...everyone is happy and merry. I just wish people would stay that way after the holidays, but one can only expect so much. The kids had a great time decorating, looking at Christmas lights, visiting with Santa, eating tons of Christmas JUNK, and last but not least.....opening presents!!!!! I just hope that sooner then later...my kids will start to appreciate the REAL reason for Christmas. I know they're to young right now, but Ty and I are making a valliant effort to teach them the REASON for the season. I hope that everyone had a blessed Christmas!!!

BTW...we had the best time ever with all of our family. I'm pretty sure Ty and I have the best family EVER!!!! That's just my thoughts though. :)

The kids loved Santa.....can't you tell. ;)

Please click to enlarge....their faces are classic.

Leah + Santa = sheer terror

Nate + Santa = Awkward

Nate's legs are stiff as a board in this pic. Hilarious!!!
